Feature Friday: Event Marketing for Holiday Parties? Get Inspired!

Beginning the last quarter of 2015 in a new home, Boomset is excited to announce its new headquarters at COWORKRS | FIDI!

We’ll miss our friends at AlleyNYC, but we’re looking forward to mixing and mingling with FIDI’s finest. (And hopefully we’ll see some of you at BizBash Live: The Expo, right here in NYC at the end of October. (More details here.)

Inspired by our new downtown digs, check out what’s featured below for your event marketing, holiday parties, and more.

Featured Venue: Andaz | Wall Street

The team has become pretty fond of the Financial District since our move, and the Andaz is a stone’s throw away when it comes to hosting “local” events. The short walk between Battery Park Gardens and Trinity Church from the venue makes it ideal for weddings, and the 14,000 sq. feet of event space is great to fill for for every cocktail party, social soiree, and any celebration one could dream.

The 10,500 square feet of meeting space at the Andaz (equipped with WiFi) can combine five conference rooms that can be creatively designed to adapt to your event registration needs for any conference, summit, talk, etc. Add on the premium catering menus, on-site dining spaces, and state-of-the-art modern technology details (Hello tablet-controlled lighting and audiovisuals!) surrounding a common area and open communal kitchen, and you’re all set.

You’ll need to submit a request to their event management team at the Hyatt before checking out the event space. (And hurry — it’s the perfect location for this year’s holiday party!)

Featured (DIY) Event Detail: Embossing

A small detail that goes a long way, this is a trending Pinterest find that will impress every guest. Embossing stamps are customizable and easy to use, and depending on what the personalized stamp bears, eventprofs can detail multiple projects.

Napkins are a small start, but creativity spills over into other ways, like velum wrapped candles, ribbon, and more. Depending on the number of guests and time allotted for special projects, opt for a slightly different look:

Great for event planning on a budget and then some, you can find materials and inspiration on both Amazon and Etsy.
